There and back again.
This weekend I climbed a mountain. It was trial by fire. My first hike in a year and we chose the hardest hike in the Canadian Rockies. It was the hardest physical thing I have ever done. EVER. 11 hours of strenuous hiking. I could barely climb the stairs to bed last night.
It was a day that held the most amazing mixture of emotions.
Moments of:
"Mount Allan, I will OWN YOU!"
Coupled with moments of:
"Get me off this FORSAKEN Mountain, I'm GOING TO DIE on this summit!"
I can say today, I'm glad I did it.
The whole story soon.
