and then they all came...

It feels like all my books arrived overnight. I've been working to set up some sort of reading/studying/homework routine and it seems I am slowly easing back into the ebb and flow of school. It's a little wierd this time around to do most of my learning solo-style. I find myself wandering into local cafes and coffee shops just to do my work surrounded by more PEOPLE.

As emails from my professors continue to arrive I have found myself tackling waves of nerves or excitement (depending on the day, really). One month away (to the day actually) I get on a little plane to attend my first module of many out east. I'm meeting many of my classmates via email and must say I'm starting to feel a little bit like the youngin' out of the bunch as they dialogue about sending their KIDS off to college. I do seem to be in a much different season then most of them. There are also some very big name leaders/singer-songwriters that are in my program (WHY?!?!?) and I'm finding myself viewing most of my classmates more as mentors then peers.

I am looking forward to this new adventure and desperately hoping my little papers hold some sort of validity to the big men down east. Any skilled proof-readers out there??? I can pay you with hugs and cookies.
