Things with zing.

I have to say that I am enjoying being back in the kitchen a little more these days. We were asked to house-sit for our friends, one of whom is my running buddy and cooking trouble shooter/partner in crime. She left a fully equipped kitchen, stocked with exotic spices, oils, and grains AND put me in charge of watering her herb garden. Ummmmm, yeaaaah, about that... YES PLEASE!

Tonight's meal: BBQ steak, roasted baby potatoes with fresh basil, rosemary, and parsely, and Greek Salad with fresh chives.
I think I need to get myself a windowsill herb garden in our new place. There is nothing quite like the fresh stuff.
