Comings and Goings.

This week held a couple quiet days which I sipped slowly and savored like a hot drink:

I attended the symphony all by myself. They performed the Symphony Fantastique (by Berlioz) which has been sitting on "my favorite musical works of all time" shelf ever since I studied it in Music History in 2004. I finally got to see it live and it was absolutely glorious.

I went swimming. I haven't been to a pool in about 2 years. It was so much fun. I couldn't help let out a loud "weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" when I lept in..... sending tides through all five lanes of swimmers.

I made a pie. Peach and almond pie. For my Farmor's birthday. Nothing screams "old and married" like a pie. Just kidding.

Sort of.

I'm running my first 10Km race in March. Woot! I was all geared up to do a test run today, but a blizzard blew into town. I'm secretly hoping we get snowed in. Tonight holds lots of tea drinking, book reading, and husband cuddling.

Let it snow.
